Brooklyn, NY – Major Vehicle Accident on 6th Ave near 54th St
Brooklyn, NY (August 8, 2023) – A serious car crash happened in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, on the evening of August 8. At around 8:50 p.m., emergency responders including police and EMTs went to the scene of the accident on 6th Avenue.
Reports show the wreck occurred on 6th Avenue near 54th Street. A man was reportedly trapped inside his vehicle at the scene and had to be extricated by fire crews.
Paramedics rendered emergency medical care on-site before transporting the victim to the hospital to receive further care. The names of anyone involved in the accident have not been reported at this time.
The roadway was closed while crews worked in the area, causing significant delays in traffic. Police in Brooklyn continue to investigate.
