Brooklyn, NY – Pedestrian Injured in Wreck at Harrison Ave & Lorimer St
Brooklyn, NY (February 26, 2024) – Just before 10:00 p.m., on February 26, emergency responders were dispatched to the scene of an accident on Harrison Avenue. Sources say the crash occurred in the 100 block of Union Avenue. Multiple first responders were on the scene shortly after it happened near the intersection of Lorimer Street. A pedestrian was hurt when they were struck by a vehicle that then fled the scene. Police are currently searching for the driver who did not stop to render aid. Paramedics worked at the scene for some time as they rendered emergency medical aid to the injured victim and transported them to the hospital for further care. Currently, their name has not been reported.
Authorities continue to investigate the details of the accident.
