Brooklyn, NY (January 5, 2023) – A man lost his life, and a woman was in critical condition after they were involved in a car accident in Brooklyn. The collision happened on Friday afternoon, January 6. 

The Audi the victims were in veered off the roadway and fell 30 feet into the Long Island Rail Yard Atlantic Terminal. The man was identified as 70-year-old Francois Cadely, who suffered critical injuries. 

He was transported to Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, where he later died. The female passenger remains in critical condition. 

Authorities towed the vehicle from the scene hours after the incident occurred. Investigations into the circumstances of the accident continue.
