Burlington Township, NJ (May 7, 2026) – Three women were hospitalized after a rollover crash on Thursday, May 7, on Route 130 near La Gorce Boulevard in Burlington Township. The accident happened just after midnight.
A Kia Seltos carrying three women — aged 30, 52, and 63 — was traveling southbound when the driver lost control of the vehicle. The car veered off the road and sideswiped a traffic pole.
The impact sent the vehicle into a ditch, where it rolled over several times before coming to rest on the right shoulder of the highway. Two of the three occupants were ejected from the car during the crash.
Burlington County Police and emergency units responded to the scene and transported all three women to Cooper University Hospital. All three were admitted in stable condition.
Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the collision.
Our thoughts remain with the three women as they receive care and work toward a full recovery.
What Should I Do if I Was Hurt in a Traffic Accident in New Jersey?
If you were hurt in a traffic accident in New Jersey, the first step is to seek medical attention as soon as possible, even if your injuries seem minor at first. Getting evaluated right away not only protects your health but also creates a medical record that directly connects your injuries to the crash.
New Jersey is a no-fault insurance state, which means your own personal injury protection (PIP) coverage typically pays for medical expenses regardless of who caused the accident. However, when injuries are serious victims may be able to step outside the no-fault system and pursue a claim against the at-fault driver. A car accident attorney can help determine whether your injuries meet that threshold under New Jersey law.
After a crash, documenting everything matters. If you are able, take photos of the scene, the vehicles, and any visible injuries. Keep records of all medical visits, prescriptions, and any work you miss during recovery. Avoid giving recorded statements to insurance adjusters before speaking with a lawyer, as early statements can sometimes affect the outcome of a claim.
Rollover crashes often cause serious injuries, including spinal trauma, broken bones, and head injuries. When occupants are ejected from a vehicle, the risk of life-threatening harm increases significantly. Recovery from these injuries can take weeks or months and may involve surgery, physical therapy, and follow-up care that adds up quickly.
