Edison, NJ – Alexander T. Chong Killed in Motorcycle Crash on Rte 1 N
Edison, NJ (July 30, 2024) – A man from New Jersey lost his life on Sunday, July 28, in a motorcycle crash. Reports from authorities show he was involved in a wreck on Route 1 North in Edison, at around 8:15 p.m.
The victim was identified as 45-year-old Alexander Teshima Chong of Belleville. He was riding with a group of motorcyclists when the crash occurred near Old Post Road. Reportedly, Chong was involved in an accident with a BMW SUV. Another motorcyclist was also injured and taken to Robert Wood Johnson Hospital, where he remains in stable condition. Police in Edison continue to investigate.
