Egg Harbor Twp, NJ (November 13, 2024) – A fatal pedestrian crash occurred on Veterans Day when a 78-year-old woman was struck and killed while crossing the road in Egg Harbor Township. The incident, reported by the Egg Harbor Township Police Department, took place at approximately 5:59 p.m. at the intersection of Tilton Rd and Goldenrod Ln.
According to investigators, a 2015 Ford F-150 was traveling north on Tilton Rd when it struck Sharon Parker, 78, as she was walking across the road. Parker was pronounced dead at the scene by responding paramedics. The driver of the pickup, a 55-year-old man from Hammonton, was not injured in the crash.
