Unfortunately, about 40,000 end up losing their lives in these crashes.
Daily, thousands of individuals commute to different places in New Jersey. We want to think that others will act mindfully while taking the safety and well-being of other people on the road into consideration, however, that is not always the case. Approximately 93% of all collisions on our roadways every year are caused by drivers who are careless, distracted, or intoxicated.
Negligent driving has become the main cause of car crashes across the country. The National Highway Traffic Safety Association reports that the number of auto collisions in the US increases by around 11% each year.
Even though there are a lot of resources available to those who suffer serious car crash injuries, all too many are left with permanent problems and are forced to deal with constant emotional, physical, and financial implications as a result of their injuries.
When individuals are hurt under circumstances that are avoidable, for example, due to the negligence of another person, they have the legal option to preserve their rights. Working with a car crash attorney after being involved in a crash caused by a negligent driver is highly recommended for those who have been victimized in crashes. Accident victims and their family members should not have to be required to pay for damages caused by the reckless actions of other people.
If someone is killed in an accident caused by a negligent driver that may have been avoided, a wrongful death attorney in Freehold is available to help their family to collect financial compensation for any losses and damages that may have resulted from the crash.
