Hamilton Township, NJ (April 13, 2023) – Two New Jersey state police troopers, along with a third individual, suffered injuries in a Thursday morning auto accident in Hamilton Township. 

Information provided by preliminary reports shows the collision occurred at around 11:00 a.m. on Black Horse Pike near Cherry Lane. A Ford Escape and a marked police vehicle collided for reasons still being investigated. 

The person driving the Ford was trapped inside the vehicle due to the force of the collision. Fire crews removed the victim from the vehicle and transported them to an area hospital by medical helicopter. 

The two troopers involved were also transported to a local hospital, however, their injuries were deemed to be less serious. 

We hope for the full and fast recovery of the injured victims.
