Hamilton Twp., NJ (March 3, 2026) – Two drivers suffered injuries on Sunday, March 1, after their vehicles collided and overturned on Route 50. The crash occurred at approximately 9:34 a.m. along Route 50 between Cedar Street and Birch Street at milepost 21.
Hamilton Township Police said a 2010 Chevrolet Camaro, driven by 19-year-old Jayden Mullen of Mays Landing, traveled northbound when it struck a 2009 Ford Ranger driven by 81-year-old William Narke, also of Mays Landing. Both vehicles were heading north at the time of the collision.
After the initial impact, the vehicles overturned and came to rest along the southbound shoulder of the roadway. Emergency units arrived and provided medical attention to both drivers at the scene.
Paramedics transported Narke to the AtlantiCare City Division Trauma Unit for additional treatment. Officials have not released details about the extent of the injuries sustained by either driver.

Most Common Injuries in New Jersey Car Accidents
The most common injuries in New Jersey car accidents include whiplash, broken bones, head injuries, and back trauma. These injuries often happen when vehicles collide at high speed or overturn, causing sudden force on the body. Even crashes that seem minor at first can lead to pain hours or days later.
Whiplash ranks among the most frequent injuries after a rear-end or rollover accident. It affects the neck and upper spine and may cause stiffness, headaches, and limited movement. Broken arms, legs, and ribs also occur when drivers brace for impact.
In more serious collisions, victims may suffer concussions or other traumatic brain injuries.
Back injuries are another major concern in New Jersey crashes. Herniated discs and spinal strain can result from the force of impact or from a vehicle overturning. Some injuries improve with rest and therapy, while others require extended treatment or surgery.
Medical records play a key role in tracking recovery and documenting the connection to the accident.
When injuries follow a collision, many people have questions about insurance coverage and medical expenses. A car accident attorney can review medical documents, crash reports, and policy details to explain what options may be available. Legal guidance can also help clarify how lost income and ongoing treatment costs factor into a claim.
