Millville, NJ (August 11, 2025) – A pedestrian was seriously injured in a crash on Sunday morning, August 10, in Cumberland County. The incident occurred around 10:30 a.m. on Route 553/North Main Street near Fairton-Millville Road in Millville.

According to New Jersey State Police, a 58-year-old Millville man was struck by a southbound passenger vehicle after entering the roadway on foot. The pedestrian was immediately taken to a local hospital with serious injuries, while the driver of the vehicle sustained only minor injuries.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation, and no further details have been released at this time.
