Mount Laurel, NJ – I-295 Scene of Multi-Vehicle Crash with Injuries near Creek Rd

Mount Laurel, NJ (March 30, 2023) – Northbound lanes of an interstate in Mount Laurel were closed on Thursday morning, March 30, due to a serious car crash involving multiple vehicles. 

The incident was reported to police in the area at approximately 7:00 a.m. It happened on I-295 between exit 43 at Creek Road and Exit 45 at Rancocas Road. 

Multiple people were injured in the accident and transported to area hospitals. At this time, however, the extent of their injuries has not been reported. 

Police in Mount Laurel continue to investigate the circumstances of the incident. The roadway was blocked while crews worked in the area, resulting in significant traffic delays. Police directed local drivers to go around the scene and use caution, or use alternate routes until the roadway was clear.
