Brigantine, NJ (July 7, 2026) – On Sunday night, a fire damaged a three-story home on East Beach Avenue in Brigantine. The Brigantine Fire and EMS rushed to the 1300 block around 11:40 p.m. and found one person injured as a result of the incident.
When crews arrived, they found visible flames on multiple floors of the home. Five people were displaced from the residence. One person sustained minor injuries, according to fire officials.
The upper floors of the home suffered extensive damage, with smoke and water affecting the rest of the structure. Three vehicles parked on the property were also damaged, and a neighboring home sustained minor damage as well.
Officials said high humidity and limited aerial access made the response more difficult. The cause has not yet been determined, though officials do not consider it suspicious at this time.
