Franklin Township, NJ (July 7, 2026) – A 13-year-old boy was fatally hurt on Monday, July 6, after becoming trapped beneath a tractor that overturned in Gloucester County.
The Franklin Township Police said the accident happened around 5:30 p.m. in the 1100 block of Swedesboro Road. Officers arrived to find the boy unconscious and pinned beneath the overturned tractor.
Officers freed the boy and rushed him to a hospital, where he later lost his life.
The exact circumstances that caused the tractor to overturn remain under review.
