Queens, NY – 3-Year-Old Fatally Struck by Car on College Point Blvd near 41st Ave
Queens, NY (December 1, 2023) – A 3-year-old boy lost his life in a pedestrian collision in Queens. Reports show the wreck happened at approximately 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 29. Police and paramedics responded to the scene located on College Point Boulevard near 41st Avenue. According to information provided by police, an Infiniti was pulling forward in a no-standing zone when it struck the child without stopping. Witnesses report that the child was in the roadway when he was struck by the vehicle. The young boy was reportedly crossing the street, traveling a few steps ahead of his father. The young boy was transported to New York Presbyterian Hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. Authorities found the Infiniti abandoned about four blocks from the scene, leading them to believe that the driver was aware of what had happened. Approximately 24 hours after the crash, a man was arrested in connection with the collision.
