Queens, NY – Car Crash Ends in Injuries on Long Island Expy near Francis Lewis Blvd
Queens, NY (June 21, 2024) – At approximately 10:45 a.m., on June 19, emergency responders in Queens were sent to the scene of a traffic accident on the Long Island Expressway. Emergency responders including EMS, police, and fire crews were seen rendering aid at the wreck site located on the Long Island Expressway near Francis Lewis Boulevard. Two or more cars crashed in the area and caused injuries to the people involved. Paramedics loaded those with injuries into ambulances and transported them to the hospital as needed. Crews remained on-site for some time, resulting in significant delays in traffic. Police in Queens continue to investigate.
