Vehicle Rollover Injuries in New Jersey

Robbinsville, NJ - Two Injured in Rollover Collision on NJ Tpk

When an object or obstruction disrupts the forward motion of a motor vehicle, it can cause the car to tip to the side or slant forward. This is a primary cause of collisions that end in a vehicle rollover. Some other known contributory factors include:

  • Faulty parts
  • Flat, incorrectly sized, or bald tires
  • Reckless or negligent drivers
  • Drunk or inattentive drivers
  • Drowsy drivers
  • Speeding
  • Excessively sharp turns
  • Driver overcorrection

Sport Utility Vehicles are frequently involved in rollover collisions. That is because they have a high profile and a narrow wheelbase; a structure that makes them innately hazardous.

When a vehicle rolls over, those inside often sustain serious injuries. These injuries might be life-changing, leading to the dismemberment or death of the victim. They could also be forced to undergo an extended physical rehabilitation process. Further, the personal injury protection portion of their car insurance policy may not fully cover their ongoing medical expenses. This is why it is vital for victims to seek additional damages in court.
