New Jersey Car Accidents
When accidents involving multiple vehicles occur, multiple victims usually sustain serious injuries and heavy damage to their cars. If you were responsible behind the wheel, then you would not be held liable. This means you will be entitled to collect financial compensation for your damages from both your insurance company and the at-fault driver.
A publication distributed by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reveals that the United States has seen an 11% rise in car accidents since 2015. As our country’s population continues to grow by leaps and bounds, the number of inexperienced, angry, new, careless, preoccupied, and reckless drivers on the roadways continues to grow along with it. New Jersey’s overcrowded roadways are just one of the numerous reasons for the elevated rate of motor vehicle crashes.
When car accidents happen, sometimes, only property damage results. Unfortunately, about half of the time, people involved end up sustaining serious injuries. Depending on the cause of an accident, someone may be held responsible for the resulting damages. Those who responsibly conduct themselves while driving don’t usually have to worry about being held liable for collisions; however, those who act negligently usually have to pay fines and even spend time in jail when accidents happen due to their behavior.
