Trenton, NJ – One Person Hurt in Pedestrian Crash on Rt 29 near Cass St

Trenton, NJ (March 6, 2023) – Police in Trenton were sent to the scene of a traffic collision that ended in injuries. At approximately 9:30 p.m., TEMS, Trenton Fire, Trenton Police, and Capital Heath Paramedics were sent to the scene of a crash on Route 29. 

Sources say the accident happened when a pedestrian was struck by multiple vehicles on Route 29 between Cass Street and South Warren Street. Shortly after officials arrived at the scene, the pedestrian was pronounced deceased on-site. 

The New Jersey State Police were accompanied by the New Jersey Department of Transportation, the Mercer County Serious Collision REsponse Team, and Trenton Police at the scene. 

No one involved has been identified at this time.
