White Twp, NJ – Woman Killed, Passenger Hurt in Fiery Crash on Rte 519

 

White Twp, NJ (July 14, 2025) – A woman from Pennsylvania lost her life late Friday night, July 11, after a devastating crash on Route 519 in Warren County.

According to the New Jersey State Police, the crash happened around 11:20 p.m. Jacqueline Bernette Breeland, 54, of Mahanoy City, was driving south when her SUV left the road in White Township. The vehicle struck a large rock and then hit a utility pole near mile marker 42.8.

The impact caused the SUV to overturn and catch fire. Breeland was tragically killed at the scene. A passenger in the vehicle sustained moderate injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
