Douglaston, NY - 13 Injured in Collision on Long Island Expwy near Little Neck Pkwy

Douglaston, NY (December 4, 2023) - Thirteen people suffered injuries in a collision on the Long Island Expressway during the early morning hours of Saturday, December 2. Multiple vehicles were involved in the wreck on the LIE near Little Neck Parkway in Douglaston at approximately 6:15 a.m., according to information provided by the FDNY. The injured parties were transported to North Shore University Hospital and New York-Presbyterian Hospital Queens to receive treatment. Currently, their names have not been reported.

Police in Douglaston continue to investigate. We hope for the full recovery of those with injuries.
