Beach Haven, NJ (September 21, 2021) – A boat accident reported in the Beach Haven area left several people injured. At around 11:58 p.m., on September 18, calls for assistance came in surrounding an accident on Long Beach Island.
Reports from local law enforcement show that a 30-foot white pleasure craft was involved in a collision late Saturday evening. Crews with the Coast Guard Sector Delaware Bay Command Center rushed to the scene after 12:18 a.m. and attempted to rescue several victims.
Crews were able to rescue six people from the water. The victims were all transported to area hospitals for the treatment of injuries. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
