Berkeley, NJ – 81-Year-Old Man Killed in Head-on Crash on Pinewald Keswick Rd

Berkeley, NJ (November 23, 2022) – An 81-year-old man from Whiting was killed in a head-on accident in Berkeley on Tuesday afternoon, November 22. At around 2:41 p.m., emergency crews were sent to the scene to render aid and investigate. 

Sources say the incident occurred in the 800 block of Pinewald Keswick Road when a 61-year-old woman from Whiting, driving a 2019 Honda HRV, left her own lane and hit a 2010 Honda Fit head-on. 

Police in Berkeley, along with Manchester EMS, rendered medical aid to both drivers, however, the man lost his life at the scene. The woman was transported to the Jersey Shore Medical Center, according to reports. 

The crash is currently being investigated by the Berkeley Township Traffic Safety Bureau.
