Berkeley, NJ – Two Drivers Hurt in Crash on Jamaica Blvd at Bimini Dr
Berkeley, NJ (July 5, 2024) – Two drivers suffered injuries after one drove through a stop sign and collided with another vehicle in Berkeley, police said.
Police responded to the intersection of Bimini Drive and Jamaica Boulevard at approximately 9:15 a.m. on Tuesday, July 2. A white Honda Civic and a tan Toyota Camry were found at the scene with heavy damage. Both vehicles were sent off the road due to the crash. The driver of the Camry sustained significant injuries in the accident and needed to be extricated from their vehicle. They were airlifted to Jersey Shore University Medical Center. The Civic’s driver was transported to Community Medical Center by ambulance, according to police. Police in Berkeley continue to investigate the wreck.
