Bridgewater, NJ – Two Hurt in Car Crash on Finderne Ave near 4th St
Bridgewater, NJ (July 4, 2024) – Authorities were dispatched to the scene of an automobile accident that occurred on Wednesday morning and ended in injuries. The Bridgewater Police Department was called to the scene at around 7:00 a.m. on July 3.
Official reports indicate that a 2017 Mazda 3 was traveling in the area of Finderne Avenue and 4th Street when it became involved in a collision with a 2012 Honda Pilot. The Finderne Volunteer Fire Department and paramedics from the Robert Wood Johnson Hospital responded to provide assistance. Two people had to be extricated from their vehicles. Both of the victims were transported by EMS to Robert Wood Johnson Hospital for emergency medical treatment of injuries. The victims were identified as Marta Castillo De Rivera of Plainfield, and Edward Carbonaro of Bridgewater. The Bridgewater Township Police Department is currently investigating the accident.
