Brooklyn, NY – Person Fatally Struck by Train at Avenue N & McDonald Ave

Brooklyn, NY (January 12, 2024) – A pedestrian crash involving a train occurred in Brooklyn on Friday afternoon, January 12. At around 2:26 p.m., emergency responders were dispatched to the scene of the incident on Avenue N. Reports from authorities show the wreck happened when an individual was struck by a train near McDonald Avenue. A rescue operation was conducted by emergency services at the scene in order to get the person off of the tracks. Sadly, the individual lost their life due to the extent of their injuries. 

Police in Brooklyn are still investigating the details of the crash.
