Edison, NJ – Major Car Accident on I-287 near Rt 27
Edison, NJ (May 17, 2023) – A serious car accident happened in Edison on May 17. At around 5:15 p.m., emergency responders were dispatched to the scene of a collision on Interstate 287.
Responders were seen at the crash site on Interstate 287 near Route 27. One or more people were in need of emergency medical care at the scene.
EMS treated those with injuries before transporting them to local hospitals for further care. The names of the people involved have not been reported.
The crash site was occupied by emergency responders, including police, EMTs, and fire crews, for an extended period of time, causing delays in traffic throughout the area.
