Drunk Driving Injuries in New Jersey
An experienced New Jersey drunk driving accident attorney has personally witnessed just how treacherous intoxicated drivers can be. Even though driving under the influence is illegal and comes with harsh penalties, such as jail time and hefty fines, drivers who get behind the wheel after having a few too many are not the only ones affected by this criminal behavior.
Drunk drivers jeopardize the lives of other people when they choose to drive. Accidents involving drivers under the influence often involve serious or catastrophic injuries and, in some instances, are fatal. While it may be easier to prove that a drunk driver acted negligently and is, therefore, liable for your crash and subsequent injuries, these types of cases often present numerous challenges for their victims.
It is for this reason that people who are injured during their involvement in a drunk driving accident may have grounds to file a suit for their injuries and other damages.
