Workplace Accidents in New Jersey

Flemington, NJ - Worker Airlifted After Fall at Food Manufacturing Facility on Johanna Farms Rd

The thousands of workers that are injured on New Jersey job sites are typically covered by their workers’ compensation benefits. Workers’ comp benefits are adequate for covering medical bills and a portion of your lost income but are often insufficient when it comes to covering the total cost of your losses, particularly in cases involving permanent injury or wrongful death.

Parties who could be liable for workplace injuries include the owner of the dangerous structure or premises on which the accident occurred or the manufacturer or designer of a defective or dangerous piece of equipment or machinery that caused the injury. Other negligent parties may include independent contractors or subcontractors working on the site.

In many situations, an employee is not able to sue their employer for a job site injury. There are, however, some instances where an injured worker may be eligible to file a personal injury suit to recover damages for their workplace injuries, illnesses, and other damages.

The personal injury attorneys at Metro Law have over four decades of experience helping families obtain the justice and financial compensation they deserve for the losses they sustain due to workplace negligence.
