Pedestrian Injuries in Glen Rock

Determining whether or not the operator of a vehicle or the pedestrian was negligent following a pedestrian accident hinges on various factors. The pedestrian may have been walking, jogging, or standing when they were struck, but that alone does not prove that a driver was negligent and, therefore, liable for the resulting injuries.

A pedestrian could have been outside or inside of an unmarked or marked crosswalk when the accident happened, but, again, this alone will not prove if and to what extent the driver acted negligently. Where pedestrian accidents are concerned, a ruling of negligence cannot be given without careful study, evaluation, and presentation of all circumstances that played a role in the incident.

An experienced New York pedestrian accident attorney will have to disclose the facts to a jury, showing that the operator of the vehicle failed to exercise due care. Learning all events surrounding the accident is essential to both attorneys and insurance companies in establishing the negligence of a driver and moving forward with your New Jersey personal injury claim.

Pedestrian accident attorneys should have experience and legal proficiency if they hope to garner the maximum settlement or favorable verdict on behalf of their clients.
