Haddon Heights, NJ (April 1, 2024) – One individual sustained injuries in a four-car wreck that occurred in Haddon Heights on Monday, April 1. Sources say the incident occurred on Interstate 295 at around 11:14 a.m. A tractor-trailer was headed south on the interstate when it lost control, left the roadway and sideswiped a Chevy passenger car that was parked on the right shoulder. The semi-truck then re-entered the travel lanes and struck two other vehicles. The driver of the Chevy was injured and transported to a local hospital. No other injuries were reported as a result of the incident. After the wreck, police closed the two left lanes on the three-lane southbound interstate. Traffic was delayed in the area for some time, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation.
