Hamilton, NJ – Antonio Santiago Identified as Pedestrian Fatality at E. Park Ave and Berg Ave

Hamilton, NJ (October 21, 2022) – On Thursday, October 13th, Hamilton Township Police, responded to the scene of a fatal pedestrian accident involving two motor vehicles in the area of Berg Avenue and East Park Avenue at about 6:25 a.m.  

The pedestrian, science identified as 35-year-old Antonio Santiago, a resident of Hamilton, was critically injured and died at the scene.  

Santiago was struck by an eastbound 2022 Honda HRV, driven by 39-year-old local resident Diego Marin. 

After the incident, Marin pulled over and was exiting his vehicle, when Santiago was hit a second time by an eastbound 2013 Nissan Altima, driven by another local, 20-year-old Dominick Rogers.  

Both drivers stayed at the scene and notified the police. Responding agencies included Trenton EMS and the Hamilton Fire Division.  

The accident is being investigated by the Hamilton Police Division’s Traffic Unit.
