Officers were called to the scene near the intersection of Loretto Avenue and Lincoln Avenue at about 6:30 a.m.

The Honda’s driver, a 54-year-old woman from Paterson, and her 31-year-old female passenger, a resident of Prospect Park, were both moved to St. Joseph’s Medical Center with injuries to their legs.
It is unknown if anyone inside the establishment was hurt.
The crash is under investigation.
Our thoughts are with the injured victim and their family at this time. We hope for their full recovery.
Side-Impact Collisions in New Jersey
Determining negligence in a side-impact crash is often contentious because it usually devolves into accusations and finger-pointing, with each driver placing 100% of the fault on the other.
This is especially true in collisions where there are no witnesses; those instances where the only allegations regarding the events leading up to the collision come from the drivers themselves. As such, calling a respondent’s credibility into question is the linchpin in your case.
When people sustain injuries in crashes due to the reckless actions of other drivers, they should contact a car accident attorney from Metro Law as soon as possible to protect their rights.
A practiced side-impact lawyer in New Jersey will efficiently execute an exhaustive inquiry of the respondent during their deposition to counter any false assertions concerning which driver failed to exercise due care. These lines of inquiry will include factors such as speed, distance, traffic control devices, time, and the layout of the intersection itself.
Our team works diligently to help victims hold those at fault accountable and collect the maximum amount of compensation for medical treatment, lost wages, and various other damages resulting from their accidents.
