Hammonton, NJ (September 13, 2021) – 60-year-old Nancy Martinez from Jersey City has lost her life following a pedestrian accident in Hammonton on Saturday evening. Just before 9 p.m., on September 11, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on South White Horse Pike.
Reports from authorities show that Martinez was struck by a westbound pickup truck while crossing South White Horse Pike near the intersection of Central Avenue.
The driver of the truck, a 55-year-old male from Margate, remained at the scene.

Martinez sustained fatal injuries in the accident and was immediately pronounced deceased at the scene. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
