Jersey City, NJ – Multi-Car Accident with Injuries on Pulaski Skyway Between Jersey City & Newark
Jersey City, NJ (February 6, 2023) – A serious car crash happened near Jersey City on the afternoon of Friday, February 3. Reports show the accident occurred on the Pulaski Skyway between Jersey City and Newark just before 2:30 p.m.
A vehicle pulled over to stop in the northbound lane. Another vehicle, identified as a Nissan Murano traveling at high speeds, struck the vehicle and caused it to pin a Lincoln against the concrete barrier. An Altima then crashed into the wreckage.
Traffic delays ensued on both sides of the Skyway for approximately two hours. Debris was strewn across the roadway along with fluids from the vehicles. Injured victims received care from paramedics at the scene.
Two of the involved vehicles sustained significant damages, sources said. At this time, the extent of the injuries suffered in the accident has not been reported.
