Linden, NJ (September 15, 2021) – Three teens were left injured after being struck by a vehicle in Linden. At around 8:50 a.m., on September 14, emergency crews were called to the scene of an accident on West St George Avenue.
Reports provided by local authorities show that a 14-year-old female and two 15-year-old boys from Linden High School were traveling across West St George Avenue near Ainsworth Street during the morning hours.
As the three pedestrians crossed in a designated crossing area, with a posted crossing guard, they were struck by an eastbound 2009 Nissan Rogue.
The female pedestrian was rushed to Newark University Hospital with serious injuries. The two male pedestrians were treated for injuries while at the scene. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
