Middletown, NJ (July 24, 2023) – A woman riding a bike was fatally struck by a vehicle in Middletown on Wednesday night, July 19. She was identified as 40-year-old Crystal Kaylor, of Middletown. 

At around 9:21 p.m., emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of the crash on Route 35 near Chapel Hill Road. Reports show that a bicyclist was struck by a vehicle for reasons still under investigation.

Kaylor lost her life at the scene due to the extent of her injuries. The driver of the vehicle has not been identified at this time. They stayed at the scene and cooperated with authorities. 

The investigation into the details of the accident remains ongoing at this time.
