Montgomery, NJ – Three-Car Accident with Injuries on Rt 206 near Aja Cuisine
Montgomery, NJ (July 14, 2023) – An unlicensed driver caused a three-car accident that ended in injuries in Montgomery. Reports show the wreck happened on July 9 at approximately 5:30 p.m.
Montgomery EMS, along with Montgomery Police, were dispatched to the scene, located on Route 206 near Aja Cuisine, after receiving reports concerning the crash involving injuries. Preliminary investigations found that a Hyundai Elantra was headed south on Route 206 when it attempted to pass one of the vehicles involved in the collision. That vehicle then lost control and entered the northbound travel lane, and struck a northbound vehicle.
All three vehicles were found in the middle of the roadway, blocking traffic. Police officers rendered aid to the injured victims before EMS arrived at the scene. Three people sustained injuries in the accident, reports said.
The three injured victims were transported by ambulance to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset and New Brunswick by Montgomery EMS. The driver responsible for the collision was issued several citations related to the incident.
Authorities in Montgomery continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
