North Arlington, NJ (September 20, 2021) – Authorities have identified the two people who have lost their life in a North Arlington Fire on Friday morning as 75-year-old Safwat Saad and 44-year-old Maged Saad.

Reports from local news sources show that at around 4:16 a.m., on September 17, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a fire on Ninth Street.

Reports from local authorities indicate that a fire broke out inside a single-family home located at 1 Ninth Street.

Two people inside the home were discovered with fatal injuries. The victims, Safwat Saad and Maged Saad, were both pronounced deceased at the scene. A third victim was located on the property with injuries. The victim was transported to a local hospital for further care.

At this time, the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
