North Brunswick Township, NJ – One Killed in Crash on George Rd near Laurel Place

North Brunswick Township, NJ (September 13, 2021) – One person has lost their life as a result of a crash in Middlesex County on Friday evening. Just before 11:50 p.m., on September 10, the police, firefighters, and EMS were requested at the scene of a crash on George Road.

Reports from the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office show that two vehicles were involved in a collision at the intersection of George Road and Laurel Place during the evening hours. The impact of the crash caused one driver to lose control of their vehicle. As a result, they crashed into several pedestrians near the intersection.

Authorities rushed to the scene to render aid to several victims who were injured in the accident. Multiple EMS units responded to transport a total of six victims to area hospitals for care. One person passed away from their injuries.

At this time, the circumstances surrounding the accident are under investigation.
