Old Bridge, NJ – One Dead, One Hospitalized After Head-on Crash on Rte 9 at Fairway Ln

Old Bridge, NJ (October 19, 2022) – On Monday morning, one motorist was killed, and another was critically wounded when a vehicle crossed the grass median on Route 9 in Old Bridge and was slammed by a pickup truck, according to authorities.

The southbound motorist lost control and drifted into the northbound lanes at around 6:25 a.m. near Fairway Lane, according to Old Bridge police. The motorist was declared deceased by emergency personnel at the site.

The health of the second motorist, who was brought to a nearby hospital after suffering critical injuries, is unclear. Currently, authorities are conducting an investigation and plan to reveal further information within the next week.
