Old Bridge, NJ – Ryan Pomales Loses Life in Car Crash on Texas Rd

Old Bridge, NJ (September 6, 2021) – One man has lost his life following a motor vehicle accident in Old Bridge early Sunday morning. At around 2:15 a.m., on September 5, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Texas Road.

Reports show that 39-year-old Ryan Pomales was driving a Nissan Versa on Texas Road when his vehicle collided head-on with a Hyundai Elantra. The impact of the crash caused the Nissan to overturn and burst into flames.

Pomales sustained fatal injuries in the accident and died at the scene. The driver of the Hyundai, a 21-year-old man, was transported to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick for the treatment of serious injuries. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
