Paramus, NJ – Helen Koons Killed in Pedestrian Crash in Library Parking Lot
Paramus, NJ (March 20, 2024) – A pedestrian was killed in a traffic collision on Saturday afternoon, March 16. Sources say the collision occurred at around 12:45 p.m. when a woman identified as Helen Koons, 75, was struck by a vehicle in the rear parking lot of the Paramus Public Library. Koons was walking across a crosswalk at the time of the collision. She was transported to Hackensack Meridian Health where she lost her life a short time after arriving.
