Rahway, NJ – One Dead in Crash That Severed Utility Pole in Two at St. Georges Ave and Colonia Blvd

Rahway, NJ (November 09, 2021) – At least one person died in a car accident in Rahway on Monday, November 8th.

The collision took place at the intersection of Colonia Boulevard and St. Georges Avenue, also known as Route 35 and Route 27, and caused a car to crash into a utility pole, severing it in half. 

One person was killed in the accident. Their name has not been released pending family notification.

Police tented the area as they investigated the scene. The cause of the collision is currently unknown.
