Rahway, NJ – Steven Neves De Oliveira Killed in Fatal Collision at Rt 1 N & Randolph Ave
Rahway, NJ (January 26, 2023) – A man lost his life in a fatal crash that happened on a roadway in Rahway on Saturday, January 21. A two-car crash happened involving a 2016 Ford F-150 and a 2000 Nissan Frontier at the Route 1/9 overpass between Randolph Avenue and East Milton Avenue.
Officers with the Rahway Police Department went to the scene at around 9:30 p.m. Thus far, it appears that the Ford F-150 rear-ended the Nissan in the northbound lanes of Route 1/9. The Nissan’s driver was identified as Steven Neves De Oliveira, an Elizabeth resident.
Despite being rendered emergency medical aid at the scene, De Oliveira lost his life due to the severity of his injuries.
Authorities in Rahway are still working to determine the cause of the collision.
