Ramsey, NJ – Two Killed in Auto Accident on Rt 17

Ramsey, NJ (November 30, 2022) – Two people lost their lives in a car crash in Ramsey on Tuesday, November 29. The incident was reported to officials in the area at around 4:30 p.m. 

According to information from local sources, the wreck took place on Route 17. 

Police stated a man and woman were inside a vehicle when the driver lost control in the northbound lanes. No other vehicles were involved in the accident. 

Police in Ramsey are working to figure out how the accident occurred. Both people involved lost their lives. Their names have not been released at this time. 

Traffic was blocked on the northbound side of the roadway while responders worked in the area. Police asked local drivers to use alternative routes for the time being.
