Sea Girt, NJ – Worker Injured in Stairwell Collapse on Morven Ter
Sea Girt, NJ (February 11, 2022) – A worker was injured when a stairwell collapsed at a home on Morven Terrace on Wednesday, February 9th at about 10:00 a.m.
According to officials, responders arrived on the scene to find that the stairwell of a home under construction had collapsed into the basement.
One construction worker, who was on the stairwell when the accident occurred, fell 15 feet into the basement and was unable to move.
The Sea Girt Fire Department, along with the South Wall Fire Company responded to the scene, extricated the worker from the basement, and transported him to a nearby medical facility in unknown condition.
