Springfield, NJ – Two Severely Hurt in Wreck on Rt 206 near Jacksonville Jobstown Rd

Springfield, NJ (May 8, 2024) – Two people were airlifted to the hospital after a traffic accident that happened in Springfield. Reports from authorities show the accident took place at around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 8. Information provided by the Burlington County Prosecutor’s office reveals a man operating a white Jeep was headed south on Route 206 when it veered off of the road and into the grass. When it came back onto the road it was involved in a crash with a Nissan, which then came to rest in a field nearby. The Jeep also struck a tractor-trailer that was waiting to turn at the intersection of Route 206 and Jacksonville Jobstown Road. The driver of the Nissan was airlifted to Capital Health in Trenton after the crash due to injuries she sustained. The driver of the Jeep was flown to Cooper University Hospital in Camden. Police report the driver of the tractor-trailer did not sustain any injuries. The roadway remained closed for some time while emergency crews worked at the scene.
