Stafford, NJ – Motorcyclist Airlifted After Collision with SUV on Rt 9 near Polly Pod Rd
Stafford, NJ (September 19, 2023) – A crash happened between a motorcycle and an SUV on Friday evening, September 17, in Stafford. Responders were sent to the crash site on Route 9 shortly after it took place.
Reports show the incident happened at around 6:32 p.m. when a 23-year-old man operating a 2000 Harley Davidson was involved in a collision with a 2014 Ford Explorer operated by a man from Mayetta, age 74.
Police say the driver of the SUV pulled onto Route 9 from Polly Pod Road and was involved in a crash with the motorcyclist, identified as Matthew Tancredi, 23, of Manahawkin.
Tancredi was airlifted to a local hospital to be treated for injuries he sustained in the collision.
Police in Stafford continue to investigate.
