Staten Island, NY – Serious Injury Two-Car Crash at Leonard Ave & Bidwell Ave

Staten Island, NY (December 3, 2024) – A serious two-car crash occurred early this morning in the Westerleigh neighborhood of Staten Island. The incident, reported by local authorities, took place at approximately 7:59 a.m. at the intersection of Leonard Ave and Bidwell Ave.  

According to responding officials, the crash involved two cars, with one of them colliding head-on with the other. Firefighters from the FDNY quickly arrived at the scene and worked to extricate individuals trapped in the wreckage. Paramedics assessed the victims on-site and transported the injured to nearby hospitals for treatment. The extent of the injuries remains unclear at this time, but authorities have confirmed that at least one person was critically injured.
