Car Accidents in New Jersey

Toms River, NJ - Christina Citarella Killed after Crash Splits her Vehicle in Two on Garden State Parkway near MM 80.7Every year, fatal accidents take the lives of hundreds of people across the state of New Jersey. Unfortunately, there are several types of accidents that we see continue to take place day after day. Some of the most commonly reported accidents include:

  • Head-on collisions.
  • Sideswipe accidents.
  • Rear-end collisions.
  • T-bone accidents or broadside collisions.
  • Rollover collisions.

No matter the time of the accident, there is always a significant chance that someone will suffer severe and fatal injuries. Unfortunately, the chances of severe injuries are dramatically increased when people are ejected from their vehicles as a result of the collision.

There are several reasons why being ejected from a vehicle is so dangerous. First of all, when a person is ejected from a car, they are no longer protected by the car’s safety features, such as seatbelts and airbags. This leaves them vulnerable to being hit by other vehicles or objects, or to being thrown around violently inside the car.

Another reason why being ejected from a car is so dangerous is because it increases the chances of the person being thrown out of the car completely. When this happens, they are at risk of falling onto hard surfaces, which can cause serious injuries or even death.

Finally, when a person is ejected from a car, they may land in an awkward position that can cause serious injuries. For example, if they land on their head or neck, they could suffer spinal cord damage or paralysis. If they land on their stomach, they could suffer internal bleeding, which can be life-threatening.
